A simple detox can help to cleanse your system and make your body more alkaline helping you good to achieve your goal of improved health.

Here are some tips if you would like to participate in a detox:

• Eliminate any acids or toxins from entering your body for a period of 3-4 weeks. This means you need to eliminate alcohol, caffeine, nicotine, refined or simple sugars, and meats.

• You will eat mostly fruits and vegetables. It is recommended to include between 40 and 80 grams of plant-based proteins each day, but it is not necessary.

• If you would like to make your detox more effective, supplements can be added to the detox process. You should only take these supplements during the 3-4 week detox process. Taking them on a long-term basis is not recommended because it can deplete the body of necessary vitamins and minerals. These supplements can include 2 shots of apple cider vinegar daily , 2 Tablespoons of baking soda daily, 6 tablets of Standard Process Renafood daily, and 6 tablets of Standard Process Livaplex per day. The Renafood and Livaplex will help support the kidneys and liver while they work to get your body healthier. There are many other supplements available, but they are more aggressive and harder on the body.


Here is an example of a daily food routine for during your detox:

• Smoothie
• Plant based meal (made up of fruits and vegetables)
• Smoothie

Repeat the food routine every 3-4 hours while you are awake.


Here are some basic smoothie ingredients. It is always best to reference the blood type food list or your personal IgG food allergen test for those foods that will work best for your body. Usually it is recommended to do about a cup of each, but it is important to match it to your taste as well.

• Berries such as blueberries, raspberries, blackberries, and acai berries
• Spinach, lettuce, and mixed greens
• Kale
• Carrots
• Peas in the pod
• Zucchinis, cucumbers, and eggplants
• Turnips
• 2 Tablespoons of Flax or chia seeds or powder
