Who We Are
A Small Community Business
We are formerly known as Steele Chiropractic. As of November 2022, our clinic was renamed and is now Beyond Chiropractic LLC.
Steele Chiropractic was founded in 1996 by Dr. Marcus Steele when he purchased the practice from Dr. Claire Hackman. Dr. Marie Chapman came on board in 2008 and through the years Steele Chiropractic gained additional support staff. Dr. Kari Cornelissen-Wied joined the clinic in 2012 and in June 2019, her dream of owning her own practice came true when she purchased the clinic.
Our mission at Beyond Chiropractic LLC is to influence every person we meet in a positive way by providing top notch multidimensional care and customer service. Our doctors strive to find the root of the problem and address it vs treating the symptoms only. We encourage patients to recognize the whole person: physical, mental, emotional, social, intellectual and spiritual.

Beyond Chiropractic offers Chiropractic Manipulations, Cold Laser Therapy, Ultrasound Therapy, EMS Therapy, DOT Physicals, Orthotics, and Occupational Therapy.

Chiropractor
Dr. Kari lives in Wrightstown with their four children, Lawton, Tucker, Brady and Annalyn. She loves spending time with her family & loves watching her kids play sports. Any given weekend you can find them on a court, diamond or a field. Traveling & seeing the world is also passion of hers; always looking for new adventures to explore!
She loves promoting a healthy lifestyle and allowing people to do what they want without pain or discomfort.
A fun fact about Dr. Kari: she has wanted to be a chiropractor since she was in sixth grade!
Dr. Marie Chapman
Chiropractor
Dr. Marie received her Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Northwestern Health Sciences University in Bloomington, Minnesota. She began practicing at Steele Chiropractic in 2008 following her graduation.
Dr. Marie and her husband Mike live in Green Bay with their two kids, Ava & Max. She loves helping people of all ages become pain free and reach their full potential through chiropractic care. She has a soft spot for pregnant mamas and their kiddos.
She is also a big Packer fan…Go Pack Go!!

My husband and I both grew up in Pulaski, WI. We are high school sweethearts that will be married for 16 years this August 2023. We lived in Viroqua WI for the last 12 years and both went to college at UW- LaCrosse, prior to choosing to move to Kewaunee. We have spent much of our college years and married life on the LaCrosse side of the state!
We were blessed with 3 children: Bronson, Samson, Breya. All of our family still resides on this side of the state and therefore we wanted to move back so our children could grow up living close to their grandparents, aunts/uncles, and cousins! My husband is a Physical Education /Health teacher here in Kewaunee! When he was interviewing for the job, I came with and immediately fell in love with the town and living a life by the lake-there has not been one day that we have regretted this decision, with the exception I could use a little nicer Spring ;).
Since returning to this side of the state, I have dreamed about providing therapy to patients along the lakeshore and I am beyond thankful for this opportunity to serve the surrounding communities. I graduated from UW -LaCrosse with a bachelor’s in Psychology and Master’s of Science in Occupational Therapy in 2008. I have been an OT for 16 years, with experience in a wide variety of diagnoses and ages. My specialty has been Lymphedema, Neurological conditions and Orthopedics primarily of the Upper extremity—but the list does not end there! I look forward to being a part of your care and therapeutic experience!
Tonya
Receptionist
Tonya was born and raised in Chicago. She is married & has 2 grown daughters. Tonya retired and moved to Kewaunee with her husband Neal, who also retired from law enforcement in 2020. She started helping another local business in town (Lafonds Fish Market) and soon became a patient of Beyond Chiropractic. During her visits she became friends with the staff and Dr. Kari. Once she saw that a receptionist position opened up, it was like fate. She knew it would be perfect working part-time with her soul sisters.
When Tonya isn’t working, she enjoys fishing, gardening, and spending time with her family & four dogs. Tonya is also a Halloween fanatic and works on a huge display in town every year in her yard.

Patient Service Specialist
Jessica has worked at this clinic since July 2012. She is our full-time Patient Service Specialist & will always greet you with a smile and a friendly hello!
Jessica lives in Kewaunee with her husband Jason, their two children Hayden and Scarlett and dog Monty. When she is not working, she enjoys being on the go with her family, shopping for a good bargain and checking out coffee shops!
Stacy
Patient Accounts Representative
Stacy has been working for Steele Chiropractic since November 2019; she is our Patient Accounts Representative.
She lives in Kewaunee with her husband Dale and their two children McKenna and Luke. When she is not working, she loves to spend time with her family and friends, go shopping and gardening.
