About Macaela, APNP (Advanced Practice Nurse Practitioner)
Macaela graduated from Marian University in 2017 as a licensed Registered Nurse. She began working with adults at Bellin Hospital and the last few years has been working at St. Elizabeth Hospital in the Neonatal intensive care unit, pediatric, and labor and delivery! She graduated in August 2022 with her Doctor of Nursing Practice through University of Alabama Birmingham.
She and her husband live in Wrightstown with their son, Blake & daughter, Brynlee. She loves to spend time with her family and friends exploring the outdoors. She thrives to help others by understanding their health. Through her studies she has found the best way to a healthy body is in a holistic manner including mind, body, spirit.

How does IV Therapy Work?
A licensed registered nurse inserts a small plastic catheter into a vein. A mixture of electrolytes, vitamins and minerals is delivered directly into the bloodstream for effective absorption.
How long does a treatment take?
Typical treatments range from 30-60 minutes.
How long does the benefit of a treatment last?
2 to 4 weeks depending on how depleted you are when you receive treatment.
Are there side effects?
Side effects rarely happen. If they do, they are minor and short lived: bruising or bleeding of IV site, warming/cooling sensation in arm, chest or stomach, tasting the vitamins or having a vitamin smell in your urine.
